||> Summary
It's right after that fatal battle and the gang is beat. Battered, bruised and at each other's throats. Buffy, above it all, is on the prowl for more information. She even forsakes poor Xander in her need to keep moving. Finally, everything comes to a head where everyone whines and complaines and Buffy demands too much... and gets her butt kicked out of Rubello Drive.

As a Buffy fan, you come to expect certain things. Popular main characters die, perhaps multiple times, but Buffy getting the boot was not what I expected. Especially by Xander and Willow. Yeah, the situation sucks, but come on! And you know that Dawn's part of the discussion came from what her mother, or the First, told her. It was all very self-centered although I think Buffy went overboard too, of course. And what is up with Giles lately? Even I felt like I couldn't trust him. I'm sick of all the Spike-centeredness too, so I'm glad they addressed that, but everyone is acting so wonky it's beginning to freak me out.
As for Sunnydale, at least the residents seem to be getting some sense finally. But you would think they should have cleared out for, say, Glory too or even when the Hellmouth opened in "The Zeppo." Well, as long as there's some sort of clue now, I'm happy. But it's an interesting underscore too. In the case of Caleb, I'm sort of hoping that he dies soon too. He's sort of annoying with his stereotypical psycho-Christian talk about dirty women and the like. It's a bit degrading not only for those who live in the South, but Christians as well and I'm pretty sick of it. So anyway, die, Caleb, die!
Anyway, I thought this episode was good in that typical "choked-up" way since I did get pretty emotional at the end. I just hope that it all works out - and that Rona dies for that "witch is dead" comment.
