||> Summary
Dawn has a wierd, insane crush at school and the boy that she's digging isn't all that, so when Buffy helps out and tries to convince the boy to back off her newly slutty sister, she ends up falling for the boy as well. So of course if everyone starts to fall for him (even, it seems, lesbian witches) it must be some sort of spell. Unfortunately, the only ones immune are sudden roomates Xander and Spike. They must race against the clock to stop the boy before he goes too far and the girls before they go too over the top. Wackiness and a very unclimatic-climax ensue.

You know, this is the first time in a long while that we dealth with teenage emothions or anything that happened to anyone in high school? It's a good thing that I'm about the same age as the characters on the show, or I would have had a difficult time digesting the last two seasons as, say, a teenager would. Until at least this show. In a way it was nice because it was kinda a throwback to the old days of just random teenage wonkiness, and in a way it wasn't so good because it was a throwback to at least a couple other episodes, "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" being one of them.
The only real funny, cool and creative thing was when the girls decided to have that competition about who loved RJ the best. Then the camera split so we could see what they were doing. I thought it was great really. Dawn's was a little creepy to be sure, but the thought of RJ's spell backfiring on him so that he turns into a girl was pretty funny. I am glad though that Buffy didn't kill Principal Wood just because he seems relatively cool. Besides, don't all the principals get eaten? I think it would take something away from tradition if Buffy just killed him. As for the ending, it was cute, although pretty unclimatic. I suppose that was the point, and pretty much why I found it funny. Anyway, it was a nice filler episode, but now I think it's time to get down to the big bad.
