This started out as a PB rant about how girls view our two Sunnydale hunks. I fleshed out my ideas a bit, and vióla! The Chocolate Theory:

The idea of corresponding the guys on Btvs is a very yummy idea. The first guy to start with is, of course, Angel. Angel is like a rich chocolate fudge brownie. Completely scrumptious and yummy all around. This brownie is the kind that chocoholics crave and women love. Unfortunately, you can only have one, because it's so rich that you're full very quickly. Not to mention it's always high maintenence (what with the fat content and expense of a good brownie). So, this kind of chocolate is thie kind that is strictly for fine dining, showing off to your friends, etc.

Xander is like a $0.50 bar of chocolate. At first, you would take the brownie, but when you're sick of rich fudge, you want something light and yummy. It's not high maintenence because the cost and fat are lower, so you feel better about yourself later, less sick. And it's still delicious. The best thing is that you can eat this sort of chocolate anywhere, and you never have to worry about cost, or how it will make you feel in the morning.

To be honest, I love fudge brownies, but when my sweet tooth is acting up, I always end up at the candy rack, and not at some gourmet restaurant. Give me a small piece of milk chocolate over too rich cake anytime!

Plainly, this means: Given the choice between Xander and Angel, I would choose Angel for a very short time, but although he's yummy and completely delectable, ultimately I would choose Xander because Angel would get kinda high maintenence after awhile.
